Most people are very surprised they can grow a plant that moves when you tickle it from seeds. The leave rapidly close and even the branches MOVE when tickled. Not pain ones but if embroidery is your thing you could do that, or dye them various colors or use fabric to create a border or blocks of color. It's something people would use but would also liven up their kitchen. You could do the same with cloth napkins. I like the idea of kitchen towels.
