The Take Back The Filter campaign started by Beth Terry achieved its goal late last year. I live outside the US, so I didn’t take part in the activism. I am just writing a brief post to offer belated congratulations to those who were involved and also to advise everybody who uses a Brita water pitcher to recycle the filters rather than throwing them in the garbage.
