		<description>Johnny, I did this product review on a dare after seeing the very cheaply made razor in the souk. It was more the build quality than the design that made for a bad shave.  The pieces are stamped rather than forged and then sloppily coated with plating. I probably have the same razor that you have for everyday use.</description>

Is the construction of the razor/handle what you believe caused the bad shave? I thought that you had switched to single edge a while ago, and it looks like you were using good blades.  

I switched to Derby brand straight razor blades about a year ago.  I got the handle (yes,with a plastic casing) and 300 blades for $29.99 on Amazon.  I end up shaving only 2-3x per week, so this kit should last me for the rest of my life!

In the beginning, I may as well have shaved with a hatchet, I cut myself up so bad.  But with practice I got better.</description>
