<p>My second wedding was a beach wedding with only our children, an officiant, a photographer and a photographer&#8217;s assistant present. </p>
<ul>
<li>No flowers.</li>
<li>No wedding cake.</li>
<li>No presents for the guests.</li>
</ul>
<p>We weren&#8217;t trying to be green.  Frugality and practicality were the dominant motivations.  As it turned out, the day was romantic and meaningful and it didn&#8217;t rain. </p>
